Umalas Suites

We loved how secluded and quiet this was. It was close enough to cafes/warungs/restaurants/massage parlours/pharmacies etc that you could easily walk to pretty much anything and everything you might need but far enough away that there was no noise pollution (except for the neighbours dog that appeared to be quite aggressive but never actually did anything) The suite was large enough that the children could still play games like hide and seek - be drawing on the dining table or doing puzzles at the coffee table. This was a must for us as we had stayed in a much smaller hut style accomodation out in Bangli - so it was nice for the kids to be able to stretch out and play and make the space their own. The staff were incredibly kind and accomodating - especially the staff on the housekeeping crew - they were all very patient and understanding (we went surfing as tracked sand and all sorts throughout the suite without realising) and did a wonderful job keeping the suite clean and comfortable. Our 3 year old loved the pool! A bit small for all of us to enjoy all together if there were other guests interested in spending time out there though. The photos are very deceptive.

Overall everything here good to very good. Staff were kind and polite. Included breakfast was tasty. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was decent. Room was spacious and well appointed with facilities (kettle, fridge, sink, sitting area, table and chairs, t.v., plates etc) Good sized bathroom and nice shower rose. Good water pressure. A/C great. Happy for what we paid. Nice they included a 10min free massage, we unfortunately didn't find the time to use this. Not really traditional Balinese in any way, but great if you're looking for good clean reliable accommodation away from the busiest parts of Canguu.

It was super quiet location, beds were hard like a futon mattress other than that it was gorgeous, super friendly staff, little cafe quaint, pool was cool with squirrel friends and a lizard :-)

I couldn’t be happier with my stay! The staff were truly the kindest possible, always so helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and super clean every day, the service impeccable, and the location just perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and served until 11am, which was such a plus. It is a more boutique option for those seeking a quit place in order to be able to sleep well and easily move around the area. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
